The Wizarding World

The Wizarding World (WW) is an umbrella brand that houses all entities of the Harry Potter universe. With the brand growing beyond the books and movie, WW is launching a brand new interactive website for Harry Potter fan’s all around the world. Having designed and managed the current Harry Potter Shop, we were tasked to create a member’s only shop that coincides with the WW site launch to share a unified look and feel.

The current websites of the Harry Potter brand had a fragmented experience across all digital touchpoints. As we collaborated with the client and development teams, we created an online store that creates a seamless integration across the ecosystem of the Wizarding World brand. Users will not feel a disconnect between the main site and shop as we integrate a shared registration portal that will give an engaging and personal experience.

Navigation UI

A consolidated dropdown for shopping by category or searching for a product by keyword. This narrows the amount of browsing and allows key categories to be right above the fold.

Search Dropdown UI

A dynamic search feature in the category dropdown allows users to quickly navigate by keyword. As you type your search term, the dropdown suggests key terms and products to quickly navigate to.

Featured Category Carousel

A responsive product carousel allows user to quickly swipe through the featured category of the week. These are highlighted products off the entire category or relevant products to feature in the hero. A dynamic swipe feature that simple and intuitive for users.

Editor’s Pick Pagination

A responsive product section that allows users to swipe through an elegant, curated pick of products. This section similar to the hero section allows for users to dynamically see our version of “Staff Picks.” The gold “Editor’s Pick” is one of many product tags that allows customers to define special products in subsections.
